Insurance and Financing

At Family Vision Care, we want to assist you in obtaining the preventive, cosmetic, and restorative vision services you need for your best possible quality of life. Our team’s primary mission is to deliver the finest and most comprehensive vision services available today. Our office works with you to streamline insurance processing and account handling to be as affordable as possible. For your convenience, we also offer financing options.

Insurance

The eye care industry can be very confusing when it comes to insurance benefits.

Routine vision benefits, if you have them, are for yearly, routine eye exams and glasses or contact lenses. If your visit to our office is for medical reasons such as red eyes, allergies, injuries, or ocular diseases, then your medical plan becomes the insurance that is billed. Routine vision and medical benefits may or may not be on the same insurance plan. The chief complaint (the reason for your visit) is what determines which insurance benefits (medical or vision) are used. We want to make every effort to ensure that you are aware of what your insurance benefits are prior to your first visit with us.
