Appointment Policies
In an effort to better serve all of our patients, the following policies were made effective January 1, 2021.
Late Arrival Policy
Our doctors and staff aim to make your visit a pleasurable one. In our efforts to minimize every patient’s wait time, our office has implemented a late arrival policy. If a patient is more than 10 minutes late for an appointment, the appointment may need to be rescheduled. This is to ensure that the patients who arrive on time do not wait longer than necessary to see their provider. Please know that we will make every attempt to work in late appointments as the schedule allows.
Once you have scheduled your appointment, we will send you a link to your patient portal. Please complete your paperwork through the patient portal prior to arriving for your appointment. Otherwise, all patients should arrive at the office at least 15 minutes prior to the scheduled appointment to complete patient paperwork through the portal prior to your appointment time.
The doctors and staff at Family Vision Care truly appreciate your compliance and understanding with this policy so that we can continue to provide excellent care and customer service for all our patients.
Appointment Cancellation Policy
Family Vision Care is committed to providing all of our patients with exceptional care. When a patient cancels without giving enough notice, they prevent another patient from being seen.
Please call us at 615-771-2550 by 2:00 p.m. on the day prior to your scheduled appointment to notify us of any changes or cancellations. To cancel a Monday appointment, please call our office by 2:00 p.m. on Friday. If prior notification is not given, you will be charged $75 for the missed appointment.
